PHOENIX -- Former NFL All-Pro safety Darren Sharper has been indicted in Arizona on charges of sexual assault and administering dangerous drugs, authorities said Wednesday, marking the latest development in investigations in five states involving the Super Bowl champion. Ryan Mundy Womens Jersey . A Maricopa County grand jury indicted Sharper in sexual assaults allegedly committed on Nov. 21 in Tempe. The four-page indictment dated Tuesday accuses the 38-year-old Sharper of two counts of sexual assault and three counts of administering dangerous drugs. Sharper knowingly administered the sedative zolpidem to three different victims and then had "sexual intercourse or oral sexual contact" with two of them without their consent, the document states. Sharper is currently in custody in Los Angeles, where he has pleaded not guilty to seven rape and drug counts in connection with two alleged attacks in Hollywood. He had been freed on $1 million bail before turning himself in when an arrest warrant was issued in New Orleans. In Arizona, police reports released earlier say two women in their early 20s had claimed Sharper drugged and sexually assaulted them at a Tempe apartment after a group including Sharper went drinking at bars in nearby Scottsdale. One of the women told police she hadnt had any alcohol that night until Sharper insisted she drink a shot. Another young woman said she had been drugged then went to bed, locked her door and wasnt attacked. The next day, one of the women confronted Sharper, who denied wrongdoing, according to the reports. The reports said Sharper was in Arizona to visit a woman who lived at the apartment. The two had met about a year earlier in Las Vegas. Skip Donau, a Tucson attorney who represents Sharper in the Arizona case, declined to discuss specifics. "We know that Darren will vigorously deny the allegations," Donau said. "We are hopeful of vindication." In Los Angeles, Superior Court Judge Renee Korn said last week that it was unfair to hold Sharper in jail there "into perpetuity" and gave prosecutors in Louisiana until Thursday to charge him or otherwise seek his return. Prosecutors in New Orleans said Wednesday that Sharper would not be indicted by that deadline and the investigation remained open. It could not be immediately determined if Arizona authorities would ask that Sharper be held longer in Los Angeles or would seek his extradition. Jerry Cobb, a spokesman for the Maricopa County Attorneys Office, declined to comment. Sharper is also under investigation in Florida and Nevada. In a bail motion filed last month, Los Angeles County Investigator John Maccharella described a pattern in which the former football star met women at clubs or parties and lured them to a hotel room, where they were allegedly drugged and raped. The New Orleans warrant says police learned from witnesses that Sharper and an associate had acknowledged having nonconsensual sex with two women. Sharpers attorneys say he never made such statements. The warrant does not elaborate on how the information was obtained or disclose the names of the witnesses. Sharper was selected All-Pro six times and chosen for the Pro Bowl five times. He played in two Super Bowls, one with the Green Bay Packers as a rookie and was part of a successful championship run while with the New Orleans Saints. He retired after the 2010 season and was working as an analyst for the NFL Network before being fired recently. D.J. Kendell, executive director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights, grew up in Ogden, Utah, far from any NFL city, and became a fan of the Los Angeles Rams because shes an Aries and liked their uniforms.Im going to try something a little different with this weeks NFL Preview, going game-by-game, with any notes of particular interest for that matchup. It may be a little more orderly, which will help my brain and might even make it easier on you, the reader. So, on to the new-and-improved Week 14 Preview: CLEVELAND (+14) at PITTSBURGHBrowns RB Peyton Hillis has been limited in practice, but has played the last couple of weeks and hes likely the only legitimate hope that the Browns have to even keep the game close. The Steelers have allowed just 176.8 passing yards per game, which figures to be a daunting task for QB Colt McCoy to have a big game, considering his mediocre cast of receivers. The Steelers pass rush may not be quite as formidable without OLB LaMarr Woodley, but they have enough to overwhelm the Browns. The Browns have allowed a league-low 173.3 passing yards per game, thanks in part to ace CB Joe Haden, but the Steelers have a passing game that will be tough to contain, as Antonio Brown has become just as dangerous as Mike Wallace on the perimeter. INDIANAPOLIS (+16.5) at BALTIMOREWho could have possibly imagined that Dan Orlovsky would be the cure for the Colts seasong-long passing woes. Well, garbage time yardage against New Englands shaky pass defence may not be a true representation of Orlovskys impact, but he may give Pierre Garcon and Reggie Wayne more appeal than they have had most weeks. TE Dallas Clark also participated fully in practice, so he would give Orlovsky another weapon in the passing game. Matching up against Baltimores defence, however, figures to make for a long day and the Colts have such a porous defence -- which could be even worse off without LB Pat Angerer -- that Ray Rice (and possibly even Ricky Williams) should run free. HOUSTON (+3) at CINCINNATIWhile Texans rookie QB T.J. Yates was solid in his first start, hell face a tough challenge against a Bengals team that will be looking to bounce back after getting blasted by the Steelers last week. If WR Andre Johnson is further hindered by the hamstring injury he suffered last week, that will make matters more challenging for Yates (though it could be countered by Bengals CB Nate Clements and his hammy injury), but will mean more looks for TE Owen Daniels and wide receivers Jacoby Jones and Kevin Walter. Bengals rookie QB Andy Dalton will have his hands full against a Texans defence that ranks second in the league, allowing 274.1 yards per game. If the Bengals are going to move the ball against the Texans, they will likely need a big game from rookie WR A.J. Green or TE Jermaine Gresham. OAKLAND (+11) at GREEN BAYIf the Raiders are going to have any chance whatsoever, they will need RB Michael Bush to carry the ground game much more effectively than he did last week (10 carries for 18 yards at Miami). With Packers linebackers Desmond Bishop and A.J. Hawk hurting, that would seem to be the Raiders best plan of attack. For the Packers, its likely to be more of the same: minimal rushing attack and Aaron Rodgers spreading the ball around to Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson and Jermichael Finley. KANSAS CITY (+10) at N.Y. JETSSo long as Tyler Palko is running the Chiefs offence, its hard to have any expectations so sure, Dwayne Bowe is still a starter, but after that, any Chiefs are going to be high-risk plays against the Jets defence. Kansas City ranks 25th in rushing yardage allowed, which seems like a favourable opportunity for Jets RB Shonn Greene, particularly if the Jets can score a touchdown or two to take the lead early. MINNESOTA (off the board) at DETROITIts one thing to have RB Adrian Peterson out, as he has been for the last couple weeks, but Vikings QB Christian Ponder didnt practice Wednesday because of a hip issue. If Ponder cant go, that would leave Joe Webb to start and it would be a free-for-all for the Lions defence. Detroit has some injury issues on their own. RB Kevin Smith didnt practice, which could mean more touches for Maurice Morris and Keiland Williams if Smith cant go and CB Chris Houston and SS Louis Delmas both have knee injuries, so there could be some vulnerability in the secondary. Vulnerability that might be exploited by Ponder, not as likely by Webb. NEW ORLEANS (-3.5) at TENNESSEEThe Saints offence is running at a very high level right now, so the Titans secondary will have its hands full trying to keep Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, Marques Colston, Robert Meachem and company in check. The Titans have no shot to win a shootout with the Saints, but if RB Chris Johnson can continue his resurgence -- he has back-to-back 100-yard rushing games for the first time this season -- then maybe the Titans can grind the Saints with a running game, mixed in with some timely passes to WR Damian Williams, who may be even more important as WR Nate Washington has an ankle injury. Perhaps not likely, but minimizing the amount of time that Drew Brees has the ball is the way to go. PHILADELPHIA (+3) at MIAMIMichael Vick returns to action for the Eagles, but does so against a Miami defence that is playing very well. Theres never been a question of skill with the Eagles offensively, so Vick, RB LeSean McCoy and WR DeSean Jackson are all capable of big games. Even wide receivers Jason Avant and Riley Cooper have filled in admirably with Jeremy Maclin injured, but the Dolphins have a front seven capable of shutting down the running game, which may force Vick to go to the air and in his first game back, who knows if hell be accurate enough to be effective? Miamis offence isnt earth-shattering, but QB Matt Moore has leaned more on WR Brandon Marshall in recent weeks, so it wwill be interesting to see if Eagles CB Nnamdi Asomugha can slow down that part of the Dolphins attack. Roberto Garza Womens Jersey.   NEW ENGLAND (+8.5) at WASHINGTONThe Patriots raced out to a 31-3 lead against Indianapolis last week before allowing the Colts to climb back into the game in the fourth quarter and the Pats might be able to do something similar at Washington, though the Redskins can count on a decent pass rush in their attempts to disrupt Patriots QB Tom Brady. While its not easy to forecast the Redskins winning, they could very easily have a productive day against a suspect Patriots secondary. QB Rex Grossman, WR Santana Moss and (former Patriot) WR Jabar Gaffney are worth watching. Particularly with TE Fred Davis suspended, the Redskins may have to rely more heavily on their wideouts. ATLANTA (-3) at CAROLINAAfter a disappointing loss at Houston, the Falcons need this one at Carolina, but it wont come easily. RB Michael Turner has a groin injury, which could leave the running game in the hands of rookie Jacquizz Rodgers, though the upside is that the Panthers have lost their two rookie starters at defensive tackle, which might make matters a tad easier at the point of attack. While RB Jonathan Stewart remains a threat, QB Cam Newton may be able to take advantage of a Falcons secondary that is missing Brent Grimes, their best cornerback. TAMPA BAY (off the board) at JACKSONVILLEUncertainty over the status of Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman appears to be the issue, though Freeman was throwing the ball Thursday. Theres not a lot to be excited about when it comes to the Bucs, whether Freeman plays or not, but the passing game may fare better against Jacksonville who, for all their problems, have a solid tandem at defensive tackle with Terrence Knighton and Tyson Alualu. If the Jags are to have any hope, they need continued excellence from RB Maurice Jones-Drew, who has more touches than any player in football and leads the league in rushing. Rookie QB Blaine Gabbert is overwhelmed and the Jags havent scored more than 20 points in a game all season, so expect a low-scoring game. SAN FRANCISCO (-4) at ARIZONAThe Niners steamrolled the Rams last week, to get back to their winning ways, but they cant overlook the Cardinals, who have won four of their last five games. Niners QB Alex Smith had a strong game and may, along with WR Michael Crabtree, be able to take advantage of Arizonas secondary. On the other side of the ball, though, the Niners face the prospect of not having ILB Patrick Willis (hamstring) and possibly Carlos Roges (knee), as neither practiced on Wednesday. Willis, one of the games premier linebackers, is obviously important and his absence could provide an opportunity for Beanie Wells to have a big game. With QB Kevin Kolb back in the lineup, the Cardinals attack should at least be capable of presenting some offenive threat to a strong Niners defence. CHICAGO (+3) at DENVERMaybe the Bears will take the reins off QB Caleb Hanie, but its hard to be optimistic about his chances. Maybe if, in the absence of Matt Forte, Marion Barber can establish the ground game and ease some of the pressure on Hanie, the Bears will be able to mount more of an attack at Denver than they did at home against Kansas City last week. What more needs to be said about the Broncos? Tebow. The Bears dont seem likely to pull away from the Broncos and anytime the Broncos have been close, theyve somehow found their way to the winners circle. RB Willis McGahee expects to play, despite a knee injury, but Lance Ball could see some more touches if McGahee isnt at full speed. BUFFALO (+7) at SAN DIEGOBuffalos offence is at least coming around a little in recent weeks, with WR Brad Smith playing a more prominent role, but they will be hard-pressed to match a Chargers attack that still has playoff-level talent, even if the execution hasnt been there for most of this season. The bad news for the Bills is that TE Scott Chandler is questionable with an ankle injury and both safeties, George Wilson and Jairus Byrd, are hurting. If theyre out, that bodes well for Chargers QB Philip Rivers. N.Y. GIANTS (+3) at DALLASThere may be a bit more desperation from the Giants, who are a game behind the Cowboys in the standings, but desperation wont matter much if players arent healthy. Giants running backs Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs missed practice Wednesday. In Bradshaws case, hes still coming back from a broken foot and played last week, but the Giants could use a ground attack to provide some balance against Big D. In the passing game, Victor Cruz has emerged as the big play threat for Eli Manning and forms a fomidable pairing with Hakeem Nicks on the outside. Dallas expects to get WR Miles Austin back in the lineup and it may be none too soon, since Laurent Robinson missed practice with a shoulder injury. Robinson figures to see fewer targets with Miles back in action, but the Cowboys have many weapons to support QB Tony Romo. ST. LOUIS RAMS (off the board) at SEATTLERams QB Sam Bradford aggravated his high ankle sprain, so A.J. Feeley could be at the controls again, which doesnt do much to generate excitement for Rams receivers, including WR Brandon Lloyd. Seattle has been playing pretty well, turning the offence over to RB Marshawn Lynch and being rewarded by Lynchs bull-in-a-china-shop running style. With the Rams giving up a league-high 157.8 yards on the ground, there seems to be little reason for the Seahawks to move away from something thats been successful lately.
