ORLANDO, Fla. Larry Foote Black Jersey . -- Adam Erne had two power-play goals and also scored in the shootout to lift the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 4-3 win over the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday. J.T. Brown had two assists for the Lightning, who rallied back from a 3-0 deficit. Tom Pyatt also scored for the Lightning. Dmitrij Jaskin scored twice for St. Louis and Jaden Schwarz had the other goal for the Blues, who missed both attempts in the shootout. Both teams held out most of their star players. Jaskin had a wraparound goal in the first period and was also alone on his second goal at 1:52 of the second period. The Blues forward threw a seemingly harmless shot at the goal from just inside the boards that Lightning goalie Cedrick Desjardins let sail over his shoulder for a 2-0 Blues lead. Kristers Gudlevskis replaced DesJardins in the middle of the period and allowed a goal to Schwartz on the first shot he faced to make it 3-0. Erne deflected a shot from Mark Barberio late in the second period to cut the deficit to 3-1. Erne struck again 1:31 into the third period, scoring from right in front of the net after a centring pass from Brown. Pyatt tied the game with a sharply-angled shot from the left wing that surprised Blues goalie Brian Elliott. John Carlson Jersey . Anthony Calvillo, through 20 CFL seasons, was frequently invincible and largely stoic in the heat of competition. But underneath the professional exterior he was, and is, compellingly human. The top pick in last months NHL Entry Draft signed a three-year contract with Edmonton last week. This week he is on the ice with other Oilers prospects for the teams summer development camp. Nugent-Hopkins joined Steve Kouleas on Thats Hockey on Wednesday to discuss his first opportunity to don an Oilers jersey on the ice. "Obviously the pace is a lot faster," he told Kouleas. "I think Ive really had to pick up my pace a lot and I mean everybodys a good player here so its just good being out here with such good players." Nugent-Hopkins also said that while development camp is different from what he will face at the teams main training camp, the week will still serve him well. "I think its really going to help all of us out, just getting a feel for what camp might be like a little bit," Nugent-Hopkins explained. "Just being around all the guys and getting to know the staff and other players really helps out." The agile young centre is a gifted passer and led the WHL with 75 assists last season for the Red Deer Rebels. If there is one thing he has heard from the Oilers coaching staff this week though, its to be a bit more selfish and look for his own chances. "One thing a couple of the guys have said is just shoot the puck a little bit more," said Nugent-Hopkins. "Obviously Im a pass first kinda guy and dont like to play too selfish but they feel like given the opportunity I should be shooting more. Kevin Minter Jersey. " While his natural tendency is to look for the pass, Nugent-Hopkins is still confident in his ability to put the puck in the net. "When given the opportunity to score I feel like most of the time I can bury," he said. Rebels fans can also attest to Nugent-Hopkins ability score. He netted 31 goals to go along with his hefty assist total last year. Development camp wraps up on Saturday. After that Nugent-Hopkins plans to continue his preparation for next season. "Im going to be training hard this summer and weve got a couple months now to just gear up and get ready for training camp," he said. Much of his preparation will be focused on getting stronger and adding muscle to his frame. He would like to be between 175-180 pounds come training camp. "Obviously I dont want to put on too much weight and affect the other aspects of my game," he said. "Im trying to find the balance right now and get bigger and stronger but also maintain my speed and my agility." While his goal is to play in the NHL next year, Nugent-Hopkins knows that if he doesnt crack the Oilers roster he has a good situation to go back to in junior. "My goal right now is to make the Oilers," he said. "But if I dont it will be another good developing year for me and also we should have a good year in Red Deer." NHL main training camps will get underway in September. ' ' '
