CHICAGO -- Chicago Blackhawks forward Dan Carcillo will be out for the rest of the season with an injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Steve Johnson 49ers Jersey . The team said Friday that Carcillo is set to have reconstructive surgery on Tuesday and will be out at least six months. Carcillo was helped off the ice after he launched Edmontons Tom Gilbert into the boards during the second period of the Oilers 4-3 victory Jan. 2. The 26-year-old Carcillo received a major boarding penalty and a game misconduct for the hit, and was later suspended for seven games. Todd Fiddler scored the eventual winner for the Cougars (21-26-7) at 11:30 of the third period while also picking up an assist on Marc McNultys first period goal. Josh Uhrich scored the lone goal for Moose Jaw (13-30-8). Dryden Hunt had a goal and two assists for Regina (26-21-5) while Daniel Wapple only had to make 16 saves for his third-career shutout. Kyle Burroughs, Logan McVeigh and Connor Gay also scored for the Pats. Troy Trombley stopped 41-of-47 shots for the Blades (14-35-4). --- BRONCOS 4 TIGERS 3 SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. -- Graham Black scored three times and Julius Honka chipped in with two assists as the Broncos slipped past Medicine Hat. Dillon Heatherington had a goal and an assist for Swift Current (26-18-8) while Eetu Laurikainen made 30 saves for the win. Reid Duke had two goals and an assist for the Hurricanes (10-38-5) while Carter Folk and Nick Walters added the others. Jamal Watson and Riley Sheen each had two assists. Brooks Maxwell had a pair of goals for Red Deer (27-21-2) and Nick Charif, Presten Kopeck and Rhyse Dieno each scored once.
