He threw 83 pitches over 6 1-3 scoreless innings against the crosstown rivals, but when he tried to play catch on Sunday, he said his shoulder was more sore than usual. He had an MRI on Thursday, and he said he was ready to start against the Indians. But the team is taking a cautious approach.
