LOS ANGELES -- Kevin Kouzmanoffs latest stop on his major league journey might last longer than the others, if he has anything to say about it.http://www.airmaxboltmagyar.com/nike-air-max-90/nike-air-max-90-n.html . The six-year veteran drove in his first four runs since joining the Colorado Rockies this week, helping stake Jhoulys Chacin to a five-run lead on Sunday before manager Jim Tracy used five relievers to hold off the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-6. The Rockies got Kouzmanoff from Oakland on Tuesday for either a player to be named or cash. He had been at Triple-A Sacramento since being demoted on June 6. "The guys here for a reason, and its great to have a guy like him coming to the club and helping us," right fielder Carlos Gonzalez said. "Hes making a lot of good plays at third base and starting a lot of double plays. Hes not trying to be a super hero. Thats not what were looking for. He just needs to play his game." Kouzmanoff blooped a three-run double in front of reserve right fielder Trent Oeltjen in the first inning as Colorado took a 5-0 lead. He later singled home a run and tied a career high for RBIs in a game. "It definitely feels good to contribute, and I want to do that any way I can," said Kouzmanoff, who had a career-high 88 RBIs in 2009 with San Diego. "Its all about producing and doing my part to help the team win. Fortunately I had guys on base today, and the double got us off to a head start. This is a great opportunity for me and Im excited about it. Weve got a great group of guys here." Chacin (11-10) gave up four runs, six hits and five walks in five-plus innings. The right-hander departed with a 7-2 lead after walking the first three batters in the sixth, raising his season total to 78 -- the most in the NL. "I didnt even know that, but hes still a pretty good pitcher," the Dodgers Matt Kemp said. "You have to be patient against those guys, work the count and try to get good pitches to hit. We did a pretty good job today, but we just came up short." Despite Colorados victory, which ended the Dodgers five-game winning streak, Tracy didnt hold anything back in his critique of Chacins chronic control problems. "The hurdle that we have to get Jhoulys over, is that ball four continues to haunt him," Tracy said. "You walk the bases loaded in the sixth inning when youre ahead 7-2, and we have a chance to get beaten again today. Not only does it put the game in jeopardy, but it runs him out of the game a helluva lot sooner than I wanted to take him out -- because his pitch count went through the roof." This was the sixth time this season that Chacin walked five or more, including a career-worst seven on July 21 against Atlanta. Last year, he had 61 walks in 137 1-3 innings and was 9-11 with a 3.28 ERA. "Its a mechanical thing," Tracy said. "More than likely, its his head position. And its something we have worked on and will continue to work on. But to sit here and sat that its been completely grasped at this time, Id say the answer to that question is still Not yet. Thats where were at. Weve got to get him over that hurdle." Eugenio Velez, still hitless in 28 official at-bats with the Dodgers, drove in his first run with his new team on a grounder. Tony Gwynn Jr. followed with a sacrifice fly that made it 7-4. But rookie Justin Sellers struck out against Matt Belisle, who came in having allowed 32 earned runs in 33 2-3 career innings against the Dodgers. Los Angeles closed to 7-6 in the seventh against Matt Lindstrom with Aaron Miles RBI double and a run-scoring single by Oeltjen. But Rex Brothers pitched a perfect eighth inning and Rafael Betancourt bounced back from Saturdays blown save, getting three outs to record his fourth in eight chances. Betancourt had to face James Loney for the second day in a row, after giving up a tying home run to him with two outs in the ninth Saturday before the Dodgers won on Kemps walkoff homer in the 11th. This time, Loney struck out. "With the exception of one pitch that Rafael Betancourt threw yesterday -- that is probably the only mislocated pitch that hes probably made in the last five weeks. Thats how good hes been," Tracy said. Nathan Eovaldi (1-2) gave up five runs and six hits over four innings in his fifth big league start. The 21-year-old right-hander threw 41 of his 89 pitches in the first. Troy Tulowitzki and Eliezer Alfonzo sandwiched RBI singles around Kouzmanoffs double in the first. Gonzalez, who got three hits and extended his hitting streak to 15 games, made a spectacular diving catch on Sellers sinking drive down the line in the fourth with two outs and runners at the corners. "Hes a guy who tries to hit the other way," Gonzalez said. "I remember the first time we played against him at home, and he hit like five or six balls to right field. So I was prepared for that one. The Dodgers have been tough against us and theyre a really good team. For some reason, they play really well against us. But not today. Were really happy we got the win." NOTES: Even if the Dodgers maintain their average attendance of 36,911 through the final 13 home games, they would fail to reach the 3 million mark at Chavez Ravine for the first time in a non-strike season since 1992. That year, they finished last in a six-team NL West with a 63-99 record -- which remains the franchises losingest season since 1908 (53-101). ... The Rockies improved their record on Sundays to 4-17. All of the losses were consecutive before the drought ended last week against the Dodgers with a 5-3 win at Coors Field. ... Gonzalezs club-record RBI streak ended at 11 games. ... Alfonzo did not have an RBI in his 39 previous career at-bats at Dodger Stadium until his first-inning hit. ... The five runs against Eovaldi equalled the total he gave up in 22 innings over his first four starts. ... Rockies INF Eric Young Jr., whose father spent parts of four seasons with the Dodgers, struck out as a pinch-hitter and has no RBIs in 48 career at-bats at Dodger Stadium. Nike Air Max 90 Essential . Stephens, who beat Serena Williams en route to the 2013 Australian Open semifinals, won nine of the last 10 games in a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Anabel Medina Garrigues in the womens singles before Isner beat Daniel Munoz-de La Nava 6-3, 6-4. http://www.airmaxboltmagyar.com/ . 1. PHIL JACKSON: Would be a major coup of the NY Knicks to get him as their President. Bottom line, owner James Dolan needs to stay out of the way. Jackson must have the ability to select his GM, front office staff, coaches, support staff and have final say on all player issues.TORONTO -- Toronto FC will be without star striker Jermain Defoe and defensive lynchpin Steven Caldwell for Saturdays game against the Columbus Crew. Defoe, who has scored all three of Torontos goals this season, has been sidelined by a slight hamstring strain while Caldwell must serve a suspension. And the injury list could be longer with midfielder Jonathan Osorio facing a second week out with his own hamstring issue. Manager Ryan Nelsen says Defoe, who had a scan Tuesday after leaving Saturdays game in Salt Lake City early, will be out "for the short-term." "Not a major thing but definitely unavailable this weekend," he said. The 31-year-old England striker was substituted in the 61st minute Saturday favouring the back of his left thigh as he went to the dressing room. Caldwell was suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount Wednesday for what MLS called "serious foul play that endangers the safety of an opponent." The hard-nosed Scottish centre back -- TFCs captain -- was yellow-carded for a studs-up tackle on midfielder Ned Grabavoy in the 3-0 loss to Real Salt Lake. Toronto had hoped to avoid a ban, arguing that the referee had seen the incident and decided on the appropriate punishment. But the leagues disciplinary committee disagreed. While Caldwell insisted he was just trying to win the ball, it was an ugly challenge that could have merited a straight red card, which carries with it a minimum one-game suspension. Caldwell is the second Toronto FC player to receive supplemental discipline. Brazilian midfielder Jackson missed the Salt Lake game after getting a one-game ban for an elbow thrown away from the ball in a 1-0 win over D.C. United. The latest suspension is especially worrying because Doneil Henry, Caldwells partner in central defence, has not trained this week because of a jarred knee suffered in Salt Lake City. "There could be a few guys unavailable," said Nelsen, who has repeatedly noted that the teams that succeed in MLS are the ones with the depth to cover such absences. The Toronto manager, who brought in as many as eight new starters in the off-season, is on the lookout for such reserve talent. "They normally play under the radar, they dont get any publicity or anything like that. Theyre the most valuable players on MLS teams and Toronto hasnt had those type of guys. Were trying to build them, were trying to get them, were trying to bring them (in), were trying to develop them ourselves. "For me, (the time) well get very, very, very good is when we can have a number of those guys who throw out seven of 10 (performances) every week." Goalkeeper Julio Cesar, who also took a knock to the knee on the weekend, was back in training Wednesday. And Toronto has Jackson back from suspension. Nelsen declined to say who will partner Brazilian striker Gilberto on Saturday against the unbeaten Crew (3-0-0). Nike Air Max Női. Nelsen played Canadian international Dwayne De Rosario up front with Defoe in the opening game of the season in Seattle when Gilberto was not ready. He pointed to De Rosario, Jackson, Andrew Wiedeman and newly signed Issey Nakajima-Farran as possible options. There was no "woe is me" from Nelsen. "Jermains come in and done really well obviously. But he got a slight strain and we move on. Thats life." On the backline, Nelsen has Gale Agbossoumonde and rookie Nick Hagglund at his disposal. American Justin Morrow could also move in from the left flank. Reserve fullback Ashtone Morgan is also dealing with a sore hip. Nelsen has spoken at length the last two days on the leagues supplemental discipline, arguing that it can undermine referees when the league rules on incidents that the on-field officials have already ruled on. "I dont know why the league needs to get involved, to tell you the truth," he said Wednesday. Still he seemed to want to have his cake and eat it too when, awaiting word last week on the Jackson suspension, he argued that Real Salt Lake forward Alvaro Saborio deserved a ban for his foul on A.J. DeLaGarza of the Los Angeles Galaxy the previous week. "That could have broken his leg," Nelsen said at the time of the Saborio challenge. "So if Jackson gets suspended, then youd like to hope that a guy whos nearly broken a guys leg is probably going to get suspended as well. "But I dont know, you never know. I dont make those rules." Nelsen was no doubt aware that RSL was already facing a glut of injuries at forward. His argument is that such supplemental discipline sets a precedent, effectively prompting all clubs to seek justice. "So do we slow down all elbows that were hit on Jackson before he did one or the elbow on Steven before that tackle?" he asked. "Its a slippery slope isnt it when you start overturning referees and taking away the human element of it, then every single team will have cases every single week." Unlike the NHL, MLS players are still paid while suspended. Also Wednesday, the leagues disciplinary committee fined Colorado Rapids defender Drew Moor an undisclosed amount for swinging his arm at the back of Sporting Kansas City forward Claudio Bielers head. According to the league, the disciplinary committees mission statement is "to preserve the integrity and reputation of the game and Major League Soccer, and to assist in ensuring player safety." The committee can take further action when the referee has seen or ruled on an incident on the field, if there is unanimous opinion that the play deserved a red card or was of "an egregious or reckless nature, such that the committee must act to protect player safety or the integrity of the game." wholesale nfl jerseys cheap jerseys from china ' ' '
