ST. Remy Cabella World Cup Jersey . PETERSBURG, Fla. -- After stealing seven bases, the Oakland Athletics finally got another chance to celebrate in a visiting clubhouse. Brandon McCarthy pitched five-hit ball for eight innings, David DeJesus homered twice and the Athletics earned a rare road victory by beating the Tampa Bay Rays 8-0 on Saturday night. Oakland had dropped the first four games of a nine-game trip. "Its good for all of us," McCarthy said. "We came out and played a very complete game. We needed to come out and have something where the whole team can come in and be happy with what we did tonight." McCarthy (5-5) helped Oakland win for just the eighth time in its last 38 games away from home. He struck out five before Fautino De Los Santos finished up with a hitless ninth. McCarthy improved to 4-0 in five starts since the All-Star break. "He was terrific," As manager Bob Melvin said. "Hes been as consistent a guy as weve had." Oakland had its most stolen bases since swiping eight on July 29, 1989, against Seattle. Coco Crisp stole a career-best four bags, giving the speedster 37 this season. "He gets an opportunity and takes advantage of it," Melvin said. Crisp did hurt his right calf on one of the early stolen bases, but stayed in the game through eight innings. Melvin said the outfielder might miss Sundays game. DeJesus hit a pair of solo homers, while Jemile Weeks and Adam Rosales both had two RBIs. Tampa Bays B.J. Upton grounded out in the second inning, ending a stretch of reaching base in seven consecutive plate appearances. Upton is one of seven players who share the team record of eight. McCarthy retired 13 straight after Evan Longorias first-inning single before allowing consecutive singles to Robinson Chirinos and Sean Rodriguez to start the sixth. The right-hander was able to work out of the jam. DeJesus homered and Rosales had an RBI grounder off Alex Cobb (3-2) as Oakland went up 2-0 in the second. DeJesus, who hadnt hit a home run in his previous 42 games, also went deep in the ninth. Cobb gave up five runs and seven hits in 4 1-3 innings. The rookie right-hander, who has lost two starts in a row, experienced discomfort in his throwing hand and was taken to a hospital for precautionary tests. "He did not complain about anything throughout the course of the game," Tampa Bay manager Joe Maddon said. "I was advised about the problem during the game. Hes being seen (by the team doctor). I really have no idea where this is going to go." Crisp had a bunt single in the third, stole second and scored to make it 3-0 on Josh Willinghams sacrifice fly. Weeks extended the advantage to 4-0 on an RBI single during the fourth. Weeks drove in a run with a double and Rosales had a sacrifice fly in the eighth Oakland took a 5-0 lead in the fifth when Crisp singled, stole both second and third and scored on Cliff Penningtons sacrifice fly. Oakland threatened in the first, but a baserunning mistake by Crisp ended the inning. After reaching on an error and stealing second, Crisp was tagged out in a rundown near third base on Willinghams two-out single. Weeks was also thrown out to end the fourth after going too far away from first base on his hit. Notes: Oakland 1B Conor Jackson didnt play due to spasms on the right side of his back. There is an outside chance he could play Sunday. ... Tampa Bay all-star LHP David Price (9-10), Sundays scheduled starter, has allowed eight homers in his last six outings after giving up nine over his first 17 appearances. "Im looking to go out there and set the tone early and give us a chance to win," Price said. ... Athletics RHP Trevor Cahill (9-10) enters his start Sunday 1-5 with a 6.13 earned-run average in his previous seven games. ... Hideki Matsui made his 15th start this season in left field for Oakland. He has been the DH 76 times. ... Matsui singled in the seventh to extend his hitting streak to 14 games. Eliaquim Mangala France Jersey . Even the longest of tenures with the Twins, though, dont last forever. Versatile veteran Michael Cuddyer, voted by local beat writers as the teams most valuable player in 2011, is gone. He will be with the Colorado Rockies next season. Stephane Ruffier World Cup Jersey . The 27-year-old Niskanen, the more offensive-minded of the pair of defencemen joining the Capitals, got a $40.25 million, seven-year contract. "Its a very big commitment from Washington. Thats no small thing. Youre talking a seven-year commitment for a very substantial amount of money," said Niskanen, who got married Saturday.MELBOURNE, Australia -- Adam Scott emerged victorious from a last-round fight with Matt Kuchar on Sunday to successfully defend his Australian Masters title and make it back-to-back victories on his four-event tour of his homeland. Scott began Sunday with a comfortable lead, lost it on the back nine, then wrestled it back, with his scrambling even-par 71 proving enough for a two-shot victory at a windy Royal Melbourne. It followed his victory in last weeks Australian PGA to make a perfect start to his first visit back home since his U.S. Masters title in April. American Kuchar led by two strokes with three holes to play but double-bogeyed the 18th after taking two shots to get out of a bunker and finished second after a 68. Vijay Singh was third after a 71, four behind Scott. The 50-year-old Fijian veteran was attempting to win his first tournament since 2008. Scott, who had a four-round total of 14-under 270, will now try to win the so-called Australian Triple Crown with a victory at the Australian Open at Royal Sydney in two weeks. Before that, he will partner Jason Day for Australia at the World Cup next week, again at Royal Melbourne. Kuchar took the lead when Scott made a double bogey on the 14th as he dealt with a plugged lie in a bunker, while Kuchar in the preceding group made a birdie at the 15th. The situation was reversed a whole later when Scott also birdied the 15th and the American bogeyed the 16th. Scott had led by four strokes at the start of the round and by five shots late on the front nine. His faltering on the back nine revived memories of the 2012 British Open when he bogeyed the final four holes to lose by a shot, but this time he came out on top. "I usually like looking at the leaderboard, but it wasnt eenjoyable today," Scott said of the numerous lead changes. Raphael Varane France Shirts. "I made a lot of errors, but I managed to hang on despite being a little shaky out there." His day got off to an ominous start. His birdie putt from three feet lipped out while Singh had a tap-in birdie to reduce the lead to three, but a Singh bogey on the second restored the four-shot gap. While Scott and Singh dueled in the final group, Kuchar, who will team with Kevin Streelman for the United States at the World Cup, moved up the leaderboard. The American bogeyed the first hole, but birdies on five of the next eight holes left him as Scotts closest pursuer. He birdied the 11th and then the 15th to take the lead for the first time in the tournament before his late collapse. "Its never fun, the 72nd hole, but it can happen any time," Kuchar said. "I tried on the last hole to stay aggressive and hit a good quality shot and I thought I had. "The thing about Royal Melbourne is you can really pay the price for just being off if you play aggressively. Its certainly a rough way to end it but thats kind of the nature of the game." Jarrod Lyle, playing in his first tournament in 20 months since his recovery from his second bout of leukemia, finished with an ver 79, including bogeys on his final three holes. He didnt expect to make the cut. At the 18th, the large gallery applauded, even playing partner Michael Long, as Lyle walked gingerly around the green. "I played five days in a row, including the pro-am, and the last nine holes I started to feel it," Lyle said. "I got around, and its not the end I wanted. But its better than I thought it would be: three good rounds and one shocker, thats golf." cheap nfl jerseys cheap jerseys ' ' '
