PHOENIX -- Once he stopped trying to be perfect, Arizona Diamondbacks right-hander Daniel Hudson started to roll. Pedro Rodriguez Womens Jersey . Hudson threw seven shutout innings and Ryan Roberts homered to help the Diamondbacks beat the Colorado Rockies 5-1 on Monday night for their seventh straight win. "I was fighting myself early on and trying to make too perfect a pitch," said Hudson, who needed more than 60 pitches to escape the first three innings. "Then I calmed myself down and I got into it." Hudson added an RBI single for the Diamondbacks, who have won 10 straight home games and nine of 13 against the Rockies. Arizona has allowed two runs or fewer in each game of the winning streak, tied with Milwaukee for the longest such run this season and one shy of the franchise record set in 2002. "Were all feeding off each other," Hudson said of Arizonas starters. "We want to go out and top each other." Hudson (14-9) pitched out of a second-inning jam, putting runners on second and third with one out. He retired his final 11 batters. "He struggled early when he couldnt get any rhythm," Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson said. "He was fortunate to get through the middle of the order with runners in scoring position in the early innings." Hudson scattered three hits -- all singles -- and walked three while striking out eight to earn his second straight win. "We had a chance for some momentum in the early part of the game," Rockies manager Jim Tracy said. "(Kevin) Kouzmanoff just missed in the second inning of putting three up there for us. Then we missed in the second and third, one-out situation after the runners tagged up. Then Daniel Hudson settled in and we werent able to do much offensively." J.J. Putz came on with the bases loaded in the ninth and got the final two outs for his 34th save in 38 tries. The Rockies had four hits total en route to their third loss in four games. "Through the first six innings we stranded six runners," Tracy said. "That has been a downfall for us all season." Paul Goldschmidt, Miguel Montero and John McDonald all drove in a run during Arizonas four-run sixth inning against Rockies starter Alex White (1-1). Roberts gave the Diamondbacks a 1-0 lead when he drove Whites third pitch into the stands in left for his third career leadoff home run and Arizonas sixth this season. "Ill take anything but thatll work," Roberts said. White and Hudson traded zeros until the sixth. Aaron Hill singled and White hit Justin Upton in the middle of the back with a fastball. Montero then singled to right, scoring Hill to make it 2-0. Goldschmidt, in the midst of a 2-for-11 skid, doubled off the wall in right to score Upton and advance Montero to third. White intentionally walked Geraldo Parra to set up the double play one out later. But McDonald singled into the hole at shortstop and Hudson looped a single into left to give Arizona a 5-0 lead. Upton has been hit by pitches 15 times, second in the NL to Washingtons Danny Espinosa. "It doesnt go unnoticed," Hudson said. "I know the book is you have to pitch him inside but guys had better start hitting their spots in there." The Rockies scratched out a run in the ninth, loading the bases on a single and two hit batsmen before Putz hit Chris Iannetta with a pitch to force home Troy Tulowitzki. White, making his second start since he was acquired by Colorado from Cleveland on July 31 in the deal for Ubaldo Jimenez, allowed five runs and seven hits over six innings. He walked six, matching a season-high, and struck out three. "After working so hard to get out of the first inning and the three walks I got comfortable and got in a groove there," White said. "That was the best I felt since coming back (off the disabled list while with Cleveland). I felt like I had great stuff tonight and that is the frustrating part." NOTES: Arizona pitchers lead the majors with 51 hits and 30 RBIs. Upton stole second in the first inning to become the third Arizona player to reach 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in the same season twice. Iannetta was shaken up briefly in the sixth when Parra bowled him over with a pop-up slide, but remained in the game. Rockies RHP Aaron Cook will be making his 22nd career start against Arizona on Tuesday. Cook beat the Diamondbacks on July 22 in Chase Field. LHP Wade Miley will look for his second straight win in his third career start for the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. He scattered five hits and four walks with four strikeouts over six scoreless innings against the Nationals on Aug. 25. Andres Iniesta Womens Jersey . Anthony Duclair scored once and set up three others for the Remparts (20-11-7), who blew a 4-2 lead in the third period, while Olivier Archambault had a pair of goals. "Its pretty scary seeing a goalie go down like that," Burns said after the San Jose Sharks edged the Devils 2-1 on Saturday night. "I didnt think I hit him, but I got worried when there was no replay that I might have hit him. Hes a legend of the game." Brodeur, who stopped 28 shots, was struck after he turned his back to the play as Burns tried to sneak the puck past him. Brodeur threw up his left leg to block an attempt from Burns, and then collapsed on the ice for a few minutes with his arms and legs extended. "Usually you dont turn your back to the guy shooting the puck," Brodeur said. "It was like an electric shock through my body. It went really quick through my legs, my feet and my fingers. "I wasnt sure. I had never felt that before, and thats why I didnt move. When I got up I felt a little dizzy but I guess thats normal." Brodeur was attended to by a trainer and was able to get up and remain in the game, before being pulled moments later for an extra skater as New Jersey pressed for the tying goal. "I was kind of upset there because I wanted to get one off of him," said Burns, who earned an assist in his second game after missing 13 because of an injury. Brodeur said he felt fine and was just sore where the puck hit him. He expected to be examined by a doctor. Scott Hannan and Tyler Kennedy scored first-period goals, and Antti Niemi made 18 saves for the Sharks, who have won five of six. "We talked after the first period that they tend to get stronger later in the game," Sharks centre Joe Thornton said. "They played well and made it close in the third. At this point were happy to get the two points." Pattrik Elias scored for the Devils, who had a season-high, three-game winning streak snapped. Barcelona Jersey. "We had some trouble in our zone covering them," Elias said. "They were very active and able to create a lot of chances. But we got better as the game went on and we had our chances in the second and third periods." The Devils played their third game in four nights. They beat the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings in overtime before travelling to Northern California to face the Sharks. "We played them pretty well but they got the two goals," Devils centre Travis Zajac said. "We matched them after that and there were just a couple of plays we didnt execute, and couldnt get another one." Hannan scored early in the first period from just inside the blue line. Hannan received a pass from Thornton, who has 43 points in 35 games against the Devils, his second most against any Eastern Conference opponent. Thornton has 11 points in 10 games. Kennedy scored late in the first period to make it 2-0 after Marty Havlat passed the puck out to him from behind the net. "I dont know how he saw me, but Marty found me with a great pass," Kennedy said. "I couldnt ask for better linemates. All the credit goes to them." Elias scored during a power play midway through the third period. Andy Greene slid the puck out to the right side, and Elias shot it past Niemis right shoulder. Steve Bernier helped by screening Niemi. The Devils, who came in averaging 25 shots a game, were held to 19 — including only 10 through two periods. NOTES: Thornton moved into a tie with Nicklas Lidstrom for 50th place on the NHL career points list with 1,142. ... Elias has eight points in his last seven games against the Sharks. ...
